What’s in Style?

Money, sex, and power,
That’s what Life’s about–
Which I know isn’t true;
But I sometimes have my doubts…

There are other outlets doubtless–
Considerably more worthwhile–
But life is a labyrinth,
So we follow what’s in style…

Even if it makes no sense,
We follow what’s in style;
Not paying much attention,
Plan the journey by the mile…
